Scott's Story
On Friday September 14th, 2007, During a home game of the Mission Hills Grizzlies, senior linebacker #54, Scott "Scotty" Eveland sustained a critical head injury and was transported to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido. A craniotomy was performed to relieve the swelling in the brain and save his life.

He had a 5% chance to survive the night. Scott's youth, strength, and thousands of prayers helped him make it through.

Scott’s family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation for the incredible outpouring of love, support, and prayers we have received from all over. Cards, letters, e-mails, and donations, from as close as San Marcos to as far away as Iraq. Again, a heartfelt thanks to all of you!
